Noble Silence
Silence of the body, mind and speech. Listening takes place not just with the ears, but with all of the senses. Learn to listen — not just hear — by being silent and still. When we silence our inner dialogue we often find that extraordinary facets of ourselves rise to the surface as if they have been kept heavily guarded by our words. Noble Silence is a timeless and wise practice that invites us be more sensitive and perceptive; an opportunity to observe ourselves and our surroundings. Open your eyes, open your ears, open your heart. Accept the invitation to hear the world anew.
Fasting
Our bodies have a natural self-cleansing, detoxifying method for maintaining a clean, healthy body, mind and spirit. Fasting increases the elimination of waste buildup from the liver, kidneys, lungs, bloodstream, and skin. Fasting works by self-digestion, enhancing the body’s miraculous self-healing, self-repairing process. During a cleansing fast your body intuitively will decompose and burn only the substances and tissues that are damaged, diseased or unneeded, such as abscesses, tumors, excess fat deposits, excess water and congestive wastes. Fasting gives our vital energy (prana, chi) a chance to open and explore other areas of our whole being, instead of concentrating on digestion. When this energy is freed up one begins to experience enhanced clarity, insight, creativity, euphoria, abundant energy and heightened awareness.
