Personalized Healing Retreats — Each retreat begins with clearly communicated intentionality, which provides the contextual foundation for the forthcoming experience. Most retreats evolve around a framework of sacred geometry: triangles. Three people, including the retreat participant, create a triangulated network of energy that immediately begins to coalesce and gather momentum. Retreats are designed to be emergent and flowing so that participants are able to re-harmonize with the natural properties of life itself. Working within a balance of male and female energy, your intentions become the focal point of the energetic triangle so that all subsequent exercises, interactions, and support are in alignment. As time, space, and ego begin to dissolve and the mind is gently encouraged to rejoin the present moment, extraordinary facets of dormant energy are invited to awaken, while dysfunctional patterns of thinking and perception are encouraged to transmute themselves, giving way to a more inclusive, holistic, and expanded view of yourself and the world. Hatha Yoga — Hatha is a Sanskrit term that means “force” which refers to the powerful aspect of ultimate reality. The traditional purpose of Hatha Yoga is to awaken the supreme energy in the body allowing it to transform us. If successful, the practitioner will balance the subtle energy of prana in the body with the intelligent energy of kundalini consciousness—thereby reaching an enlightened state as the ego, the illusion of separation, dissolves. The asana or posture that is performed is secondary to the observation of the constant rhythm of our breath in and out as it connects the finite to the infinite. All movements are intended to awaken and open the body while stilling the mind in preparation for an ensuing period of deep meditation.

Flow Yoga — This technique is a perfect hybrid of traditional Hatha Yoga asanas (postures) combined with the rhythmic, transcendental Nature of Tai Chi movements. A student in this class will learn to effortlessly glide between asanas as if moving through water, without end or beginning—calmly, peacefully observing the body and breath in and out of each seem-less sequence. This flow invites our attention to expand so that the precious gift of breath can be used as a gateway-tool to harness the power of a healthy, disciplined mind.

Meditation — A journey of discovery with closed eyes. Influenced by Vipassana meditation which is purported to be the actual, pure teaching of the Buddha without rights, rituals, mantras, or guru — You are the awakening master! Transform the mind from fickle and undisciplined to a sharp, limitless instrument of power and peace. Abridged sittings and discourses are offered to any level of experience or expertise as consciousness invites us to still our bodies, quiet our minds, open our hearts, and begin to experience things as they truly are—ONE. Full 10-day Vipassana retreats are available and highly recommended, operating on a giving-economy as well, at: www.dhamma.org.

Reiki — A healing art that focuses on releasing energetic blockages that otherwise can disrupt our harmony and connection to life by manifesting as physical, mental, or emotional dis-ease. All of these maladies, regardless of how they appear, are potential clues of illumination—leading us back to the ultimate source of disharmony—within the bio-energetic field of the body itself. There is a constant sympathetic vibration that invisibly exists between the manifested aspects of a living life-form (our bodies) and the spirit or ethereal realm that provides the energy for the reverse spin of regeneration that is responsible for healing. Reiki penetrates to the root cause encouraging inspired, renewed pathways of information and energy to flow efficiently once again.

Alchemical Healing — Alchemy is the process of turning the base substance of who we are—the dark mystery of our subconscious—into the alchemical gold of knowledge and enlightenment. Alchemical Healing provides ways to weave spirit and matter, to develop communications between divinity and humanity, to retrieve knowledge, and to transform magical experience into wisdom to skillfully influence physical reality and achieve healing.

Massage — Few things are as palpably healing as being physically touched by someone who is present with us. Simple or advanced, massage will increase blood flow and circulation, invite deep relaxation and calmness, and inspire healing by relieving energetic contractions that are disrupting our innate patterns of balance and well-being.

Satya Circles — A Sanskrit word that means “truth”. Having a circle dedicated to providing a means for the authentic expression that uniquely resides within each of us is a sacred act. You are invited to share whatever is on your mind and in your heart in a safe, non-judgmental environment where everyone is simply listening to the beautiful essence that is being given a voice through your divine self. There is never a right or a wrong—only a choice to allow us to be heard and to heal.

Chanting — Everything in the universe resonates with a particular frequency, a unique vibration. To resonate literally means to “re-sound”. In a modern world that has buried many healing, higher vibrations with the pollution of unconscious technological noise, it is more important than ever to remember the notes of our origin and the sound of OM. The repetition of words, phrases, or song patterns are sacred syllable invocations and create a vibrational field of energy that stills the mind, cleanses the emotions, and balances the soul—ultimately leading us back to where we began: in silence as ONE.

Sun Gazing — One of our most basic assumptions about human life is being invited to expand. Upon penetrating a superficially influenced worldview that is no longer relevant and has historically limited our relationship to energy, we open ourselves to quantum experience. This begins with the realization that primarily we are all beings of energy in this Universe. Our form—human, ape, reptile, insect, Sun, Moon, ocean thought, asteroid, etc, our (in)form-ation—is secondary. According to practitioners of this discipline, the human body contains a blueprint that upon awakening can significantly supplement traditional food sources, or in some cases, render solid food completely unnecessary. . Equal parts art and science, Sun Gazing or SunYoga is the gradual process of activating this blueprint by staring (communing) directly at our Sun—the hub of informational transmission which pulses to this planet without cessation.

Sensory Deprivation Womb — Imagine yourself weightless, timeless, soundless, sightless—free from all that is holding you captive in your illusory mind. This is to delve into the profound experience that can arise when one enters the field of sensory deprivation. Each night we lie down so that we can enter into a dream state—an accelerated period of healing and regeneration which is very similar to the sensory deprivation experience. This tool asks us to simply remain lucid as we surrender our ego —the attachment to our senses—and allow a profound relaxation to arise while exploring the vastness of the transcendent realm.
